At the end of the sale, the investor will obtain 60% of the total amount of the sale after expenses and Socio Agave 40% as payment for the services provided during the process of planting, growing, jima and selling the agave.

The demand for Tequila has been increasing worldwide, due to this, the agave industry has been going through a constant rise for several years and is valued at USD$9,000 million with growth estimates of USD$2.7 billion for the year 2030, according to economic information from the sector.

Thanks to the above, the price of agave has increased considerably, going from $3 MXN per kilo (January 2015) to $29 MXN per kilo (February 2022), a price that has remained the same to date.

DENOMINACIÓN DE ORIGEN

Existen diversas variedades de agave, sin embargo, la única especie admitida por la NOM-006-SCFI-2012 - la cual se refiere dicha denominación de origen “Tequila”- es agave tequilana weber variedad azul cultivada dentro del territorio de declaración de la misma.

En México solo 5 estados cuentan con la denominación de origen para el agave tequilana weber, y Nayarit es uno de ellos, esto debido a que cuenta con 8 municipios con las condiciones climatológicas necesarias para que el agave se desarrolle correctamente y así garantizar la calidad necesaria para la elaboración del tequila.
